In the rightwingoverse...

  1. The rightwingoverse really makes me have that gagging feeling that I get right before throwing up on the church steps.

  2. Don't get me wrong, the leftwingoverse has their own problems. Example: they claim the illegal status of drugs and prostitution have not stopped the behavior and have unnecessarily crowded our prisons (I happen to agree) They also claim that outlawing abortion does not cease the practice and violates a woman's constitutional rights (I also agree with this!) They claim illegalization of all three endangers and kills more people than it helps (again, I agree 100%!!!). And yet they seem to think that outlawing and restricting gun ownership will not have the same effect. This is an idiotic assumption and the #1 reason why I am not a Democrat.

The difference is that the rightwingoverse's hypocrisies are dangerous, increasingly anti-constitutional, un-American, bigoted toward minorities, women, and homosexuals, and if ten minutes on WND doesn't scare the bejeebas out of you, I don't know what the fuck will. And this is why I'm not a Republican either.

  3. I am not one of those pesky "party members" either. I am a gun-toting Daoist. WND is indeed scary! I hope to see the end of all this crap. Soon. If all those "2012" things are wrong, I am leaving. Does anybody out there know how to steal a spacecraft from NASA?

  4. LOL Ed! I choose not to have a gun, but totally support our right to own them. Making them illegal will be even more futile and have even more disastrous effects than prohibition and the illegalization of drugs, prostitution, gambling, and abortion put together. Again, I'm not saying that I agree with the practice of any of these things, just that making them illegal is impractical and makes it worse.

Anyway, it's going to get worse Ed. Religious extremism is a real problem here... I'm not ready to move yet though. Let's stay and be the voice of reason. Cheers!

  5. Reason? Does that ring any bells any more? How about just let's talk about Britney? Uh-oh, I might be getting cynical. Better check on the Prozac!

  8. In the rightwingoverse, opposite-married infidelity is more holy in the eyes of God than monogamous same-sex relationships.
